Meet the Teacher
Educating children since 2002, Jenn Baker fell in love with an all-girls classroom. Expanding into the homeschool setting after 18 years of classroom experience, Jenn’s desire is to help lead other parents into a beautiful homeschool environment by providing social studies tutoring. Jenn and her husband, Andy, have 6 children and lead a local church. The Schoolhouse of Sunshine has been a journey of creativity, obedience, and a way to spread sunshine to other families in the local community. With over 22 years of teaching experience, Jenn is ready to be your daughter’s teacher and tutor!
Professional
Graduating from Florida Southern College with a B.S. in Social Sciences for Secondary Education, Jenn’s favorite subject is of course Social Studies! Using art, nature, a wide variety of reading materials and unique writing & interactive assignments, her goal is for your daughter to love learning too! She is also certified in Elementary, ESOL, & Media Services. Jenn has traveled and studied the education system of Finland, Haiti, and the Cedersong Way Nature Pedagogy. Her additional training includes: History Alive, Kagan Cooperative Learning, Teaching American History Grant and many more ongoing continual education opportunities.

Academic Tutoring
Sewing Lessons
Homeschool tutoring & curriculum for girls from grades 4-8 with a focus on social studies by incorporating reading, writing, nature, and art. 3 days a week from September - April (For 2025-2026)
$600 Month
Individual tutoring: $55 an hour, per availability.
Sewing Lessons & Supplies: Meeting once a week from Sept- April, 90 min sessions for Wednesday and Thursday lessons. Meets twice a month for Friday lessons for 3 hours.
$125 Month
Camp Sunshine: Summer Sewing Lessons & Book Club
Camp Sunshine 2026 coming March 1, 2026! Click HERE for Camp Sunshine. Meets Monday- Friday for 1 week.
$150 week for the AM session (ages 6-10) 10:00- Noon
$200 week for the PM session (ages 8-16) 1:00-4:00
